The way the weapons are working is if you have 8/8 on ANY character, when Legion drops you'll be able to buy an item that allows you to buy all the weapons on any character on your account, even if your other characters haven't set foot in a challenge mode. With the new Transmog system you'll be able to use the transmog you earned from Realm A pally on Realm B pally. Say you earned it on your Paladin on realm A, but not on Realm B.
